Rising above challenges

When I was a little girl growing up, my mom always says that “trouble does not set up like rain.” That statement is an old colloquial saying which means that trouble strikes without warning. From scriptures we can see that indeed we fight against all sorts of forces but glory to God we are more than a conqueror.

So what is my mood today? I am deep in thoughts searching as to why the road to our destiny is not just clear and straight. Why is it that when I seem to have gained traction things seem to come from nowhere and destabilize me? My last post was in May and not a day went by within thinking of my readers. The truth is life happens, and that is just the way it is.

Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:34 says ‘Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.’ just for emphasis. “each day has enough trouble of it’s own.”

So what does this trouble look like.? It can be any of the following but not limited to

  1. doubt
  2. financial challenges
  3. fear
  4. health challenges
  5. family relationships
  6. career setbacks
  7. bereavement
  8. disappointments

The above are inevitable so as children of the most high how do we dealt with it. Do we become a victim to our circumstances or we rise from the dust? I supposed all reading this post will indeed do the latter.

Why do we have to rise?

    Hey, Kerrian!! (:

I have indeed missed talking with you, and reading your wonderful posts! <3 This post really touched me, and actually, it seemed I was reading something specifically written for me! *shocked* Haha, I will be honest and agree that these last couple weeks, well months, have been troublesome… I feel sometimes as if I keep falling right in discouragement, but I also know Christ is near, and is stronger than the world! Your post here is just another reminder from Him, to keep walking, 'cause He has the rest! †
I'm always here if you need me, and keep you in my prayers! *Huge hugs!*
With love and prayer, my dear friend,

      Hey MK,
You are blessed my dear friend. I always think of you and had been really bothered that for months I have not read one of your post. Equally I am pleased to be back but even more so that God has put the right words in my spirit to uplift you. As our faces are different so are our challenges. Be encouraged my dear and remember the race is not for the swift but for those who live to endure it. Life is a marathon not a sprint. You will fulfil your destiny and you will never end up on the road that is not ordained by God for you.
Keep pressing forward, never give up.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

You have inspire me with your comment (smile). Please be encouraged that you have inspired me.
Lots of hugs to you and my prayers are with you.
Remember also that God is in control.
