When I was a little girl growing up, my mom always says that “trouble does not set up like rain.” That statement is an old colloquial saying which means that trouble strikes without warning. From scriptures we can see that indeed we fight against all sorts of forces but glory to God we are more than a conqueror.
So what is my mood today? I am deep in thoughts searching as to why the road to our destiny is not just clear and straight. Why is it that when I seem to have gained traction things seem to come from nowhere and destabilize me? My last post was in May and not a day went by within thinking of my readers. The truth is life happens, and that is just the way it is.
Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:34 says ‘Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.’ just for emphasis. “each day has enough trouble of it’s own.”
So what does this trouble look like.? It can be any of the following but not limited to
- financial challenges
- health challenges
- family relationships
- career setbacks
The above are inevitable so as children of the most high how do we dealt with it. Do we become a victim to our circumstances or we rise from the dust? I supposed all reading this post will indeed do the latter.
Why do we have to rise?
- Everything produces after it’s kind,Gen 1:24-26 – Our father is excellent so we have to be excellent, to do this we must rise to make ourselves available for the glory of God to be manifest through us.
- We have all the tools available to help us in picking ourselves up- It is not by strength or by works that we prevail it’s through grace, Lam 3:21-23. In the time of trouble our loving father is there for us, but too often in the face of adversary we seems to forget this. Psalm 23:4.
- It was finishes over two thousand years ago John 19:30– our whole redemptive package has been paid for. All the worries of the day are just lies from the enemy set to deceive and rob us of our glorious destiny.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Thanks for reading and please, as always let me know what your thoughts are if anything resonates with you.
